The Monster March, sponsored by the City of Selma, is a fun, family event for children to dress up in their favorite costumes and go trick-or-treating on Broad Street in downtown Selma, Alabama. The event is on Thursday, October 30, 2025, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Selma-Dallas County Public Library where children can enjoy doing crafts and register for the costume contest. After trick-or-treating, the event ends at "Monster Village", located at Selma City Hall, where families can enjoy music and games, and a food truck will be available. The costume winners will also be announced.
