JOB ANNOUNCEMENT

E-911 TELECOMMUNICATOR/DISPATCHER

FULL TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK)

THE DALLAS COUNTY COMMISSION IS SEEKING A CANDIDATE FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

E-911 TELECOMUNICATOR/DISPATCHER - who will work under the direction of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. The applicant must be dependable with a motivation to learn. Must possess high school diploma or GED. Good typing skills, computer literate, ability to learn “10” codes and function well under stress. Must possess good communication skills and be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Applicant must have ability to multi-task, especially in emergency situations.
