The Dallas County Commission is seeking candidates for E-911 Telecommunicator/Dispatcher

The E-911 Telecommunicator/Dispatcher will work under the direction of the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. The applicant must be dependable with a motivation to learn. Must possess high school diploma or GED. Good typing skills, computer literate, ability to learn “10” codes and function well under stress. Must possess good communication skills and be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Applicant must have ability to multi-task, especially in emergency situations.

Applications will be taken between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the Human Resources Department on the first floor of the Dallas County Administrative Building at 101 Church St. from September 15, 2025, until the positions are filled.
