Connel Towns is the Dallas County Commissioner for District 1 which includes the following communities:
- East Selma
- Selmont
- Tyler
- Sardis
- Minter
- Pleasant Hill
- Carlowville
- Brooklane
Towns has served as County Commissioner for District One in Dallas County for many years, from 2000 through 2016, and now with his re-election in 2020. He is dedicated to serving the citizens of Dallas County and continuing to provide leadership to them.
