The Dallas County Commission seeks qualifications from qualified firms for the development of a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP). The goal of a CSAP is to develop a holistic, well-defined strategy to prevent roadway fatalities and serious injuries for all users. The Plan will be funded through a U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration Safe Streets and Roads for all (SS4A) Grant.
Questions regarding this information shall be directed to Anthony Crear, Dallas County Engineer, at acrear@dallascounty-al.org. Questions must be received no later than July 15, 2026, at 4:30 pm CST.
The Dallas County Comprehensive Safety Action Plan covers Dallas County maintained roads, as well as the Town of Orrville and the City of Valley Grande. It does not cover the City of Selma because they are preparing their own plan.
