Curtis Williams

Curtis Williams is the Dallas County Commissioner for District 3 which includes the following communities:

  • Marion Junction
  • Selma
  • Beloit
  • Portions of Hazen
  • Browns
  • Potters Station
  • Cahaba
  • Safford
  • Central Mills
  • Boguechitto

Commissioner Williams is married to the former Jerolene Turner. They have three children: Latanglia Marshay, Curtis Jr., and Rosa Pink. Mr. Williams is a member of the First Baptist Church in Orrville, Alabama. He is a graduate of Keith High School. He has a B.S., M.Ed., and Administration Certification from Alabama State University. He also received a Masters of Divinity from Morehouse School of Religion.

Mr. Williams served as Chaplain for the U.S. Army from 1987-1988 in Guissen, Germany. He served four terms as President of the Dallas County Professional Education Association and Secretary of the Dallas County District Association.

Mr. Williams is a member of Patterson Pride Lodge #749, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
