Ed Foster is the License Inspector/Enforcement Officer for Dallas County and serves in a dual role. He is responsible for enforcement of business licensing requirements for all business establishments and manufactured home registration. He also serves as Litter Control Officer for the County.
In his role as License Inspector, he ensures that each business establishment in Dallas County possesses and displays the proper privilege and business license. The License Inspector also inspects each manufactured home in Dallas County for proper decals, signifying registration. For both business license and manufactured home decals, a citation may be issued to the owner, if found out of compliance.
As Enforcement Officer for Litter Control, Mr. Foster is responsible for monitoring littering and illegal dumping in the County. Dallas County maintains two solid waste transfer stations for garbage disposal. One site is located on Highway 41, five miles south of Selma and the other is located just North of of Orrville, AL at the intersection of County Road 3 and County Road 33.
Mr. Foster can also be contacted for the disposal of small dead animals, including deer and other wildlilfe.
